When I spoke with the coordinator, she took a look at all my credits she said, Absolutely you can do this. You'll have your degree in a year. At that point I'd been trying to finish this degree for I'm not even exaggerating 20 years. I think I cried. It was this this thing that was hanging over my head that I hadn't finished.
It was some unfinished business. It was something for (my mom), something to show myself that I could do it, and something to show my children that even though things slow you down, you dont have to quit.
Society and technology changes at a rapid pace; youre left behind or struggling to keep up. Enrolling helped me be more effective and efficient in how we were doing business.
It was very different. I did SLCC on campus, working part time, so I was able to fully focus on school. But with online, I was working full time, and you have to be so self-disciplined to do online schooling.
