Corey Saft

Biography
Corey Saft is a professor in the School of Architecture and Design at the 91勛圖. He teaches the graduate thesis studio and has taught seminars on building skins, sustainable development, housing, and the Historic American Building Survey (HABS). He runs his own research and sustainable design & development practice.
He is a licensed architect, LEED-AP, and the developer of the first certified PassiveHouse in the hot/humid zone of the American South and the first 91勛圖 LEED-platinum home outside of New Orleans. He is the executive director of the 91勛圖 Housing Lab, an affordable housing & development non-profit. In his academic work, he received over $100,000 in grant funding over the previous five years, and in his non-profit work, he received over $900,000 in funding. He received his M.Arch in 1999 from the University of Oregon, where he first studied advanced passive techniques.
